What the site is

The site shows information about airport gates, airlines, routes and flights that we work out from third-party flight data (FlightAware), map data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) and published seat maps. It is general information for research and interest.

No guarantees

Flight data has gaps and errors, and our methods involve estimates (for example who holds a gate, seats, turn times, tows and on-time figures). The site may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and it is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy.

Don't use the site for operational, safety, navigation or travel decisions. For your flight, check with your airline and airport.

Not affiliated

Chockwise is independent. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any airline, airport or FlightAware. Airline and airport names, codes and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Using our content

You may view the site, share links to it, and quote or show our numbers, tables and images in articles, reports, presentations and posts, as long as you credit Chockwise and link to chockwise.com where you can.

Without our written permission, you may not:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site or its data files (for example routes.json), except search engines indexing pages for search;
• copy substantial parts of the site’s data into a database, product or service, or resell or redistribute it;
• try to disrupt the site, get around its limits, or access anything not meant to be public;
• use the site in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.

The site, its design, text, maps and images are owned by Chockwise or its licensors.

Enterprise access

Access to Chockwise data and tools beyond this public site (for example for airlines and airports) is covered by a separate written agreement, which wins over these terms where they differ.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Chockwise is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US $100.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Changes and ending access

We may change the site or these terms at any time; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or block access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located there.
