Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Chockwise (“Chockwise,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use chockwise.com, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions: info@chockwise.com.

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the request-access form we receive your name, work email, company, and anything else you choose to fill in (title, role, airports, a message). When you email us we receive your email address and what you write.
• Usage information. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, how you arrived (for example from a search or a link), approximate location (city or country), device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technology to do this. We don't use it to identify you.
• Server logs. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log technical information such as IP addresses to run and secure its service.

We don't ask for or knowingly collect sensitive information, payment details or passwords on this site.

How we use it

• To reply to you and follow up on your request.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Who else handles it

We use a few service providers, each under its own privacy policy:

• Web3Forms delivers request-access form submissions to our inbox.
• Google (Google Analytics, and Google Fonts for the site's typeface: your browser fetches the font from Google).
• GitHub hosts the site.
• Our email provider stores the emails you send us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

Your choices

• You can browse the whole site without sending us anything.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you sent us by emailing info@chockwise.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have further rights, and we will honor them as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and form submissions as long as we need them to deal with your request and keep a record of our conversations, then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Analytics settings.

Children

This site is for professionals and the general public. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
